To a post office pick-up point or parcel machine

When ordering, you can choose the pick-up point from which you prefer to pick up your package. When you go to the checkout, you will automatically be shown the nearest pick-up points. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the collection point for the order afterwards.

The shipment will be delivered to the pick-up point or parcel machine of your choice. Instead of your home mail, you can easily pick up packages from any pick-up point or parcel machine that suits you. An arrival notification will be sent to the telephone number you provided when placing your order. The shipment can be picked up within 5 days of arrival notification. If you have not picked up the package within this time, it will be returned to Nordiina.

If the item is too large for Posti’s parcel machine or the machine is full, the item will be delivered to the Post Office, which is closest to the machine. If the package has been routed with Posti’s parcel control service to an ATM that does not fit in it, the package will be delivered to the Post office according to the original delivery address. The arrival notification then contains information from which the package can be picked up. The maximum size of a package that can fit in a vending machine is 60 cm x 36 cm x 60 cm.

Provide the shipment tracking code and your ID when picking up your order at the Post’s pick-up point.

Matkahuolto parcel point

When placing an order, you can choose to pick up your order from the Matkahuolto package point you want. The default pick-up point is usually the Matkahuolto, K-Market, R-Kioski or other Matkahuolto parcel point closest to the address. The collection time for orders is 14 days from the arrival of the shipment to the parcel point for collection. Present your identity card when picking up your order from the Matkahuolto parcel point. If you comply with the package on behalf of the subscriber, you will also need a power of attorney.

Home delivery

You can choose home delivery for all the products you order. For some products (eg large furniture), the only method of delivery is home delivery and cannot be ordered from the Post for collection.

If you choose home delivery for your products, carefully write a telephone number for the order, which Posti can contact to arrange a time for home delivery. Distribution takes place in agglomerations
Mon – Fri from 9 am to 9 pm, elsewhere in the country as a rule from 9 am to 2 pm.

Please note that when you choose home delivery for the product, delivery costs will not be refunded even if you return the order. The service also does not apply to sending returns. In the event of a return situation, the customer must deliver the product to the post office or independently agree with Posti on the collection of the product (for a fee).

The postal home delivery service includes delivery to the address marked on the address card up to the recipient’s apartment, in the immediate vicinity of the apartment’s front door. There must be unobstructed access to the destination in order for the order to be delivered to its destination.

Home delivery for furniture

Furniture and other large products (eg sofas) are always delivered to the delivery address. Prior to home delivery, the shipping company will contact you by phone to determine the most appropriate delivery time. We normally use Posti for domestic transports and our partner for deliveries abroad is DB Schenker.

Pick up from Nordiina Store,  Helsinki

You can also pick up your online store order from the NORDIINA Store on Helsinki. You will be notified when your order is complete. The person collecting the order must prove their identity. The order will be kept at the pick-up location for 14 days after we have sent an SMS about the arrival of the order. If the order is not picked up within the deadline, the customer is considered to have canceled the contract. Pick up is free of charge.

Duties and taxes

Please note that customs duties, taxes and brokerage fees may apply to orders shipped outside the EU and will be charged at the time of delivery. This part is the responsibility of the customer. 

Post Parcel Connect (intra-EU deliveries)

For deliveries within the EU, you can choose Posti’s Parcel Connect service, in which case your order will be delivered to your door or pick-up from the pick-up point in the usual way in the destination country. The shelf life of the shipment after the delivery company or arrival for collection is 14 days, after which the undelivered package will be returned to NORDIINA. Please note that failure to collect the purchased goods is not a valid legal cancellation. We charge a separate fee of € 15 for the costs incurred by our company for deliveries that have not been picked up at the office without notice of cancellation.

 

Along with the order, we also provide a Parcel Return Connect address card, with which you can return the shipment by delivering the package to any pick-up point.

Delivery times for Parcel Connect packages:

DHL Express

We use DHL Express for express shipments and deliveries outside the EU. Delivery to the largest cities takes 1-2 business days. For less populated areas, delivery may take 3+ business days. At its fastest, you can receive your order within 24 hours, but the duration of the final delivery is determined by the order time, the day of the week and your place of residence.

Express deliveries are not possible on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. If you are not at home while the sender is importing your package, the sender will leave a notification in your inbox so you can request a new delivery. If it is difficult to receive the package at your home address, you can also request delivery to your workplace. You can view the status of your delivery at any time using the tracking link on your delivery confirmation.

Please note that when you choose express delivery for the product, delivery costs will not be refunded even if you return the order.

General Deliveries

Shipment shipment

We want to offer fast deliveries. Usually it takes a maximum of one business day to process an order and 1-3 business days to deliver. You will receive a delivery confirmation when your package leaves us.

Please note that some products are custom-made and their estimated delivery time is specified in the product information. For order products, we will confirm the delivery time by e-mail a few days after your order.

Delivery charges are the same regardless of the size of the order. The aim is to deliver the order as a single delivery. However, the order may be divided into several deliveries due to, for example, the availability or size of the products. Please also note that the online store excludes delivery options for which the order cannot be delivered due to dimensions or weight. For large products, we may only offer home delivery.

The recipient’s phone number must always be provided when ordering – please remember to write it carefully. For home deliveries, the transport company agrees with the consignee on the exact delivery time. For pick-up point deliveries and store pick-ups, an arrival notification will be sent to the telephone number or email provided by the recipient.

Delivery tracking

We will send all packages with tracking IDs. You can track the delivery status online at any time using your order tracking ID. You can see the tracking ID of your package in the delivery confirmation, which you will receive by e-mail when your package has left us. Large furniture such as sofas, armchairs, chests of drawers and tables are always delivered to your home.

Undelivered package

If your package has not arrived, even though it is already several days after the order, it is possible that your order has been delivered but you have not received an arrival notification. If, according to the tracking service, your package has been delivered to the pick-up location of your choice, you can inquire about the package directly from there.

If delivery has been significantly delayed or the package has not arrived at the pick-up point, please contact us – we will do our best to clarify the matter. Or if any of the products included in your order have been damaged in transit, we ask that you contact our customer service as soon as possible.

Non-retrievable package

Please note that failure to collect the purchased goods is not a valid legal cancellation. We charge a separate fee of € 15 for the costs incurred by our company for deliveries that have not been picked up at the office without notice of cancellation.
